4. Our content and intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, we own or are licensed to use the intellectual property rights in the Site and in all material published on it, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, audio recordings and teaching notes.
You may view, download and print material from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use, and you may share links to pages on the Site. You may not:

5. Sermons, recordings and downloads
We make sermon recordings and teaching notes available on the Site free of charge. You are welcome to listen to, download and share them for personal devotion, study, small group use and non-commercial ministry, provided that:
- you do not charge for access to them;
- you do not edit them in a way that changes their meaning; and
- you attribute them to Christ Life Church and the preacher.
If you would like to use a recording in any other way, please contact the church office.
6. Content you send us
When you send us a message, prayer request or other content through the Site, you confirm that:
- the content is your own, or you have the right to send it to us;
- it does not infringe anyone's rights and is not unlawful, defamatory or abusive; and
- if it contains information about another person, you have that person's consent to share it with us.
How we handle the personal information in your message is set out in our Privacy Policy, and prayer requests specifically are dealt with in section 6 of that policy.
7. Giving and donations
Gifts made to the Church through Payfast, SnapScan, by card at church, or by electronic funds transfer are voluntary donations. Payments are processed by the relevant payment provider or your bank, subject to that provider's own terms and conditions, and we do not receive or store your card or banking credentials.
Donations are, by their nature, not refundable. If you believe a gift was made in error or in the wrong amount, please contact the church office as soon as possible. Our Refund Policy sets out the circumstances in which we will refund an offering, and how to ask us to.
Where you designate a gift for a particular purpose, we will apply it to that purpose. If that purpose is fully funded or can no longer be carried out, we may apply the gift to a related purpose in the ministry of the Church.
8. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and what your rights are under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013. Our use of cookies and website analytics is described in section 4 of that policy. Our PAIA Manual explains how to request access to a record held by the Church.
